Opioid/substance use disorders are a statewide problem that need a comprehensive approach.
- AU has a statewide presence through the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (in all 67 Alabama counties). HCOP also has a statewide presence with two campuses and full-time faculty within practice sites throughout the state.
- COACH brings a holistic response by addressing the health and wellbeing of those affected by opioids and substance use disorders through innovative research, educational programs, and meaningful outreach efforts.
- COACH is dedicated to advancing its existing partnerships with industry, local entities, and state/federal agencies.
