The UIC College of Pharmacy received an FDA-REMS grant to provide continuing education for healthcare professionals on opioid safety. This grant is part of the continuing efforts to stem the opioid crisis in the United States. We are using a virtual platform and are scheduling educational meetings from 7AM-9PM CST Monday through Friday. The FREE Academic Detailing visits are approved for 0.5 contact hours of CME, CNE, and CPE and will last approximately 15-20 minutes.
