This training addresses the pathophysiology and clinical impact of pain\, describes common types of pain\, and covers assessment and treatment of pain.  The benefits\, limitations\, and safety considerations of non-opioid pharmacologic therapies used in pain management will be discussed.  Special populations and the role of comorbid medical and psychiatric conditions when selecting pain management therapies will be assessed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
